1. What is a Breast Form? A breast form is a breast prosthesis you wear externally to closely simulate the natural contours and weight of your own breast. It can be made from silicone foam or fiberfill.

2. What is a breast form made of? They are made of silicone. Some forms are a single layer silicone, which is less expensive, but today most of the forms are made of a two layer silicone. The back layer is firm to simulate the chest muscle while the front layer is soft and moves and feels like a natural breast.

3. What is the advantage of a weighted silicone breast form? This type of breast form feels and looks more natural. It provides better balance, warms to your own body temperature, and is more natural to the touch.

4. Will my activities be restricted when I am wearing a breast form? Not at all. You can play tennis, golf, run or participate in most any sport. If you're active, you may want to increase your wardrobe of breast forms to include an attachable breast form from the "Affinity Collection" or lightweight models, such as Classic Light or Leisure Teardrop.

10. How do I care for my breast form? Much as you would care for your body. We recommend that your breast form be hand-washed with mild soap and water and patted dry daily. It should be stored in the specially designed Amoena breast form box or case.

11. Are breast forms covered by insurance? Most insurance companies have some type of coverage for these products.

1. What are wigs made of? There are 3 types of wigs. Human hair, human hair blend and synthetic.

2. What fibres are most common? The synthetic fibres are the easiest to look after and the most economical. The synthetic fibres are amazingly like human hair.

3. Is there a good selection of styles and colors available? Lots of Looks has the largest selection of wigs and mastectomy products in Saskatchewan. We have over 450 wigs in stock, and a complete range of styles and sizes of breast forms and mastectomy bras.

4. When someone has been told they will lose their hair as a side effect from the treatment, when should they go shopping for a wig? It's a good idea to shop for a wig before hair loss. It's easier to match the style and color and it makes the transition easier. If you've already lost your hair - take along a picture.

5. Are the wigs hot to wear? Most of the wigs are basically capless these days so they are lighter and cooler.

6. How do you care for the synthetic fibres? They are wash and wear. Any curl in the wig when you buy it has been permanently set so the style just bounces back.

7. Are the wigs covered by insurance? Most insurance companies have coverage for a wig or hair prosthesis when it is for medical reasons.
